V20 purchase download issues and libraries
« on: September 02, 2014, 07:50:36 am »

I purchased V20 after having using the 30 day test on V19.

The V20 purchase was confirmed via the buy-button email with a registration code.

The exe file was NOT downloaded. I then downloaded it and have now received a 30 day trial
instead of what I have purchased.

Please advise on how to correct this.

On another topic, I have a library of AIFF, WAVE, FLAC, and mp3 files.

Can I set up separate libraries for each format even though there is significant music duplicates in each format ?

Thank you ... Mark

Welcome to Interact.

Just restore the license you purchased.  Here's how it works:

You can use one library, but create separate views.  A simple method is to enter "flac" in the search window.  That will display only flac files.

But yes, you could create separate libraries.  Start at File/Library/Library Manager.

1. Right-click Audio in the tree and select "Add Library View…"
2. Select the type of view you want. I would normally use an "empty" view and customize it myself, but since you're new, it might help to start with a preset like "Artists (small, with files)"
3. Right-Click the new view and select "Customize View"
4. Select "Set rules for file display" and add a new rule which specifies "File Type is ____"

This view will now only display your specified file type. (AIFF, WAV, FLAC etc.)
