I would like to learn how to 'push' MC19 to my Oppo 103D player. I have gotten the oppo to recognize my library on my laptop which is controlled by MC19, but it appears to me that the oppo just gets the song list. It doesn't show up on my TV screen as MC19, just a song list. And the songs are listed as mp3, but were ripped as mp4 -Apple lossless.
I would like my TV to mirror my laptop screen and be able to play from MC19 playlists or albums or whatever.

If someone here could give step by step instructions on how to do this I would forever be in your debt. Well maybe not forever, but I would greatly appreciate it. Please make the instructions simple because I am.

In MC you just right click on a song and in the Play sub menu you select the Oppo.

The Oppo cannot play M4a tracks natively so MC has to transcode to another format. Currently you have MC set to transcode to Mp3 -- in MC settings, network, Dlna server settings, audio you need to choose "always convert L16 no header"..

The Oppo is not able to display the album art of the track being played (it just shows track / album name texts). That is a problem with the Oppo. If enough people point this out to them then perhaps they will fix it..

The L16 format is -- well -- L16 ..

L16 is an abbreviation for Linear Pulse Code Modulation 16 Bit Network Byte Order Signed Integer
