Where is help on using this board?
« on: February 05, 2002, 07:46:27 pm »

I signed up, got a password, signed in, but still can't edit my posts after they are up.

Also, even after I've 'signed in' and got the Sign Out option, everytime I bring up a new page, the Sign In option is there.

Is there somewhere that has detailed instructions on how to use the board?  The only help page I've found just shows how to use neo Code.

Try quitting the browser and returning.

Try rebooting.

KingSparta, I'm using ADSL at home and T1 at work. Windows 2000 Pro at home, Win98SE at work. Netscape 4.78 both places... hmm... I'll try IE. Be back soon.

I'm using IE 5.5 now on the Win98SE/T1 setup and was able to get to Modify Profile, which I couldn't with Netscape.  I changed my password and added a signature message (see if it shows).  Sign Out is now on every page since I signed in.  I finally see an option to edit or modify my posts after signing out and back in.  Do you have to be Signed In when the message is posted to be able to edit it later?

When I try to access 'Modify' or 'Modify Profile' while signed in and using Netscape 4.79, I get the following instead:

"Not Found

"The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has
been instructed not to let you have it.

"Please inform the site administrator of the referring page."

I don't get this message when I use IE 5.5; I get access to the correct pages.  If zevele1 has no trouble using Netscape, could the problem be with how I have Netscape configured?  Is it possible that changing something in Netscape's Preferences would make it work too?
