Enable volume when bitstreaming — not working?

I have checked this option, a touted new feature in MC20, but still do not see an adjustable volume control, and the hardware keys on my keyboard (which work when not bit streaming) do not do anything. What am I missing? Thanks.

This only works in very specific cases, in system volume mode and when your DAC supports hardware volume control through its driver, very few DACs support this.
The fact that we cannot change the volume of the audio in bitstreaming mode didn't change otherwise.
