I just setup my HDHomerun and i found it looked very different than the viewer they supplied.
I found that the interlacing was not as good as the HDHomeRun viewer. However it seemed they are dithering the image to get their results.
I set my interlacing to film instead of video to get the right colors back.
It was very difficult to compare two outputs. MC was so much cleaner image. But this created anti aliasing artifacts. Sometimes MC looked better sometimes theirs looked better.
I tried an upscale option. I did not see a real improvement.
However i did see something that was interesting. When applying some setting, I saw the video change from the previous to the current setting. And I thought I saw it look smoother as it transitioned.
But it's hard to tell if i'm getting something real or not.
Is there anything else i can do to improve the alias or interlace issues?
