We are now allowed to rip CDs and DVDs into our media libraries. ::)

As long as you don't circumvent anti-copying technology.

Canada got a similar copyright reform law in November 2012. Canadians can make personal copies but not break digital locks.

I'm sure the movie studios will stop copy protecting discs so we can take advantage of our new found freedoms.

I wonder if the lobbyists when straight to the UK or if they made some stops on the way.
