DSD 128 playback - doesn't work (solved)

I'm using the latest stable build. Playback over Window7 32bit to a Mytek DSD 192 DAC by USB.

DAC and server also all have the latest firmware and drivers.

I've done setup in both ASIO and WASAPI modes as recommended in the "Software Setup Guide" of Mytek.

DSD 64 playback works fine.

Anytime I try to playback DSD 128, I get "buffering" from JRiver for a few seconds, and then nothing - it just stops. The DAC displays "no lock".

I can immediately try any other playback including DSD 64 and it plays fine.

Ideas on what could be wrong?

This doesn't help, but we have a Mytek DSD 192 DAC by USB for testing and it plays 2x DSD without a hitch.

Strange.

What happens if you pick 2x DSD in DSP Studio > Output Format > Output Encoding?

okay, contacted Mytek.

They sent me new driver for USB v1.35.2 (not on their web site) and that solved the problem.
