It's there...just press or highlight the Media Library node...it's been there in all 8.0 betas!

I did like the way 7.2 handled searching artists, album, track name, with checkboxes instead of have to type in artist= ...  The seperate search ability doesn't really need to be brought back, the new way does a good job of integrating the search with the music.

In v8 when doing a "Search", try clicking on "Advanced" and "Add Rule" and I think you will find the checkboxes you miss.
