Hi again,

I recently installed MC 20, an I have an audio library consisting of the contents of two specific folders on my NAS.

But the network views exposed by MC (both Gizmo and DLNA views) show a couple videos and pictures, that are not part of my library.

It appears that these are sample pictures/videos located in the public folders of Windows (c:\users\public\pictures, c:\users\public\videos), and only in that folders. I suppose that public music could have appeared too, but the filters I apply on music prevent them from showing.

MC 20.0.21 on Windows 7. This did not happen with my previous version (MC17).

Regards
C.M.

If they show, they're part of the library.  Just remove them and carry on.

They are clearly not part of the library, and do not appear in the "normal" desktop MC program. Even more clearly, videos and pictures are not supposed to show in an audio view.

My view settings (regular, DLAN, Gizmo) came directly from my MC17 version, which did not show the issue.

The only other possibility I see is that MC automatically imported the public folders during the setup, but this is definitively not an action that I triggered.

Create a smartlist:
[Media Type]=[Image],[Video]

Why? I dot not want to see videos nor images, just music.

Anyway, I have solved the issue the Rambo way, by deleting the unwanted images from my disk.

You create the smartlist so that you can see them in the library.  Then you erase them from the library.

Ah, got it. Thanks.

But the way the pictures appeared in my lib is still not completely clear...

Best regards.
