Haven't seen anything like that, and I've been using MJ for several years. Are you running any other programs that might be the trigger, like Weatherbug?

Try installing POW or another pop-up killer (ZDNet).

It isn't MJ.

MHorton,
Under MJ/settings/options/meteorology try moving the slider toward "sunny side of the street".

Bug report, please fix:

Emergence of the sun (and associated "sunshine") following the manipulation of weather patterns via MJ options seems to preclude forecasted rainfall in desert areas.

I tried the so-called fix for this problem, and the sun did come out (in fact, it's still out), but now we're not going to get the forecasted rain, and since it only rains once a year here, the roadrunners and fringe-toed lizards are in danger of dehydration.

Please advise work-around asap.

Could you try Microsoft?  It's an OS thing.

wait a minute!

Maybe MJ didn't create the clouds after all.

It was supposed to rain this afternoon.

And the street-cleaner guys don't work when it rains.

Sorry for blaming you for this one.

I'm positive that Mr. Gates did something to mess up our rainfall though. Compatability issues, I bet.

JRiver could never afford to own the sky, but if we did, we would never use pop-up clouds to block the sun.  Bill can afford to fool around with people this way.  We can't.

Never had any pop-ups from MJ or from their web site, but if you are getting pop-up ads (obviously from some other websites, although all too common) try Pop-up-stopper. BTW, the free version works fine under XP.
