Video files play via USB but not via DLNA
« on: November 12, 2014, 12:11:13 am »

I have searched through the boards a few times but can't find anything relating to this. Please help if you can.

My setup:

Workstation/server: win 7, MC20, wired connection
Panasonic Blueray: wi-fi connection
Netgear router

DLNA to workstation via BlueRay works fine most times on video. But on some files - all different kinds (there seems to be no rhyme or reason) they do not play. However, if I copy these to a USB then plug that into the Blueray, the vast majority can play fine.

Has anyone seen something like this before? is it connectivity, the BR or MC?

Most bluray players can play more media types via USB stick than they can via UPnP.
