As a test to run a digital signal from My Tivo to my bedroom about 60 feet away I ordered

I also used a

Portta PET0104MP Mini portable 4 Port HDMI 1x4 Powered Splitter Ver 1.3 Full HD 1080P with HDCP Support, Deep Color, HD Audio

to split the signal from the TiVo.

Originally I split the signal and then converted it to RF an then sent the signal to my TV's, this was ok when I was using my Old TV's but not now.

since this cable actually worked I am thinking about running HDMI from my TiVo to all 5 TV's in my house.

I do have a Samsung 16 Camera Security System this cable did not work with, but If I use this splitter, I can run a HDMI cable to my bedroom to a dedicated Monitor (something I will be working on tomorrow).

That's the first time in 4 years I crawled under my house.

In my last job that I worked at for about 15 or so years that's all I did every day is crawl under homes.

at the end I was getting a bit claustrophobic, and now I hate to even think about having to crawl back under my house.

the TV is hooked up, now and I am enjoying the better picture.

with the way I have this set up I can select my computer as a source and use Media Center on my computer to play My digitized DVD and music library on the HDTV in my bedroom.

the only regrets I have is if I ever have to crawl back under my house, I will be hating that day.
