The problem was that windows installed the wrong drivers for my hard disks.

It seems that windows installed its own sata drivers, and these were obviously not compatible for my AMD mainbord.

I needed AHCI drivers, or even better the drivers given on the website AMD.

Now I am using AMD sata drivers and all the problems are solved.

By the way, the latency test given does not work, it does note latency but eliminating the latency will not solve your sound problem "stuttering and skipping". My pc still shows latency but this is not a problem for MC. I do appreciate all the help given by the people here on the forum.
