Any way to copy one category into another?
« on: January 26, 2002, 12:50:50 pm »

Say I have a category named "60's and 70's" and another named "classic rock"  I want to copy everything in "classic rock" to "60's & 70's" while preserving everything that is currently in "60's & 70's"  Can I do this?  I tried dragging and dropping, didn't work, tried copy and past... didn't work... any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Sounds like your'e in Ver 7??
In which case, go to your category "classic rock", Control A - to select everything in the content (right) view, right-click> "Add to category" or right properties and click the category tab.
Add everthying selected to any category you like.
Even easier in Ver 8 (beta) but wait a build or two - the last few builds have some speed wobbles.
