Analyzing Audio 1 of 563?? Help
« on: December 07, 2014, 09:49:41 am »

Hello,
I just added my movie files folder to JRiver 20.  It shows "Analyzing Audio 1 of 563" (apparently the number of movies I have) in the lower left window under Importing Media.  The movie thumbnails are all there but the counter (1 of 563) has not moved in 24 hours.  Plus, when I try and close JR it says I am still importing media are you sure you want to close.
what am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

I would close it and retry. 24 hours is long enough. Something didn't take. MC doesn't touch the original files when importing so you can't hurt anything. Also, be sure to turn on "Logging" (Help>Logging) in case there is an issue, you want to capture it.

Can you figure out what file it's working on (look at Help > Logging) and then email a copy to matt at jriver dot com?

Thanks.

FWIW, this was happening to me after one of the update builds of MC20.

I have now switched off the analyse audio option in the auto import and I analyse audio by hand (well, ctrl+A the files and analyse) and all's well.

It would be great if you could figure out what file it's sticking on, and then provide me a copy.  Thanks.
