Pono Music World for Linux?
« on: December 03, 2014, 04:13:42 pm »

Will there be a build of the Pono Music World manager for Linux?

I'm really impressed with how the Mac version found my Logitech Squeezebox library and can control the squeezebox hardware via DLNA however I normally only use Linux. I'd be happy to test/provide feedback on a 64 bit debian version, especially once the Pono player arrives…

Cheers.

Welcome aboard!

PMW is basically just MC under the skin as far as I understand, so if PMW can do that, I don't see why MC couldn't. Have you tried downloading and installing it?

I don't think it's on the list short-term.  Longer-term, who knows.  It'll be up to Pono.
