Quick question: Converting with DSP/VST
« on: December 13, 2014, 04:41:50 am »

When using conversion with the DSP option checked, does the audio get passed through checked VST for conversion also?  I'm doing a conversion test and it seems not, but am wondering if it's VST specific or a general restriction, or maybe even a bug/oversight.

The audio should get passed through the same plugins that it passes through at playback time.

Thanks, Matt.  I thought so too, but it seems that a VST I'm using (FabFilter Pro DS) is not working that way...

Now that you've confirmed it should work, I'll have a further play and see if I can find out what's stopping it (eg a plugin option) and report back.
