Want to ensure that I have the same playlists in both. Easy enough to import/export as standard lists. But I see no way to do that with smartlists other than use the import/export function in the smartlist to export criteria, then create a new smartlist in the other program and use its import function. Very tedious for multiple lists.

Is there some easier way to do this on a batch basis?

Probably not, but you might try backing up the library in one and restoring it in the other.

you can export/import playlists. That's manual and that's about it.
