Subwoofer & USB connected DAC
« on: December 26, 2014, 12:24:46 pm »

I would like to use the JRSS mixing system & room correction for my 2 channel audio system with a subwoofer. Currently I connect to my NAD m51 Dac with a USB connection & then to a pre-amp & out to amp., So I don't have a way to connect the sub to the output of the computer so J river can control the bass management. When I open room correction , I can set the crossover freq's for left & right but in the bass management section everything is grayed out & not usable. I have a cheap Xonar card in the computer but I can't use 2 different drivers at the same time, can I? Any suggestions on how to connect the sub, go old school and loop the output of the amp into the sub and then to the mains? I've tried using the RCA outputs ( I use the balanced outputs to the amp ) of the NAD M51 to the sub but signal is too strong and volume settings are at minimum. Suggestions?
