I was wondering if anyone has setup there HTPC with a good recording in progress indicator?

I was going to make a request that MC tray icon or other parts of MC could show that it was recording.
When it occurred to me. That what's more important is that it shows recording without the display on.

So i'm back to looking for a good lcd or external for a HTPC case.

Anyone have any suggestions?

It still won't show anything until JRiver adds some support for this concept to MC20 Television.

I think this is easily the most requested/desired missing feature.

Some free TV recording programs have this (often with a separate little Notification program that has a little sending program on the recording PC and a little display program that can be put on any/all other PCs).
