Convoler crashes JRiver
« on: January 09, 2015, 10:03:08 pm »

I have the latest JRiver for Mac version. I use convolution and go out 4CH. JRiver crashes whenever a track from a higher sample rate is switched to a track with a lower sample rate. I've repeated this with numerous different tracks and it crashes JRiver everytime. This ONLY happens with convolution engine on. If I turn convolution off, no crash from high SR to lower SR.

I've tested some more. I am using the exact same configuration I use on my JRiver 20 windows DSP setup. So I know the problem is not the filters or the cig files. If I hit stop and wait a few seconds before selecting a lower sample rate tracks JRiver does NOT crash. So the problem has to do with switching convolver filters on the fly. Hopefully somebody reads this.  ::)

Can you provide a copy of the files you're using and steps to reproduce to matt at jriver dot com?

Thanks.
