How can I copy files to a USB drive?
« on: January 11, 2015, 01:38:10 pm »

Hi,

I'd like to copy the selected items in the grid, to a given folder.
Is there an easy way to do it?

I've tried unsuccessfully the "Send to | External program" option, and using as external program /bin/cp.

Regards,
David

Setup the usb device as a "handheld" in MC then sync to it.

you can also do the following (if the USB stick is mounted):

This works very well for me

Library Tools ---->Rename, Move, and Copy Files ----> select Copy ---->

with the browse buttom you can select the drive and folder ----> done
