update glitch since build 59

I have my server and two clients set to latest build.Shortly after the new build comes out the update comes out it is  downloaded and ready to install in the lower left corner. Since 59 MC does not update. Even if go to help>update channels> check for updates it says I have the most current update. I have to manually go to the forum and update from the link.
