Restore help needed
« on: October 08, 2003, 10:41:55 am »

Just upgraded my PC again and am unable to restore my license.  I've used up 2 of my restores (on 10/6), but neither of the files emailed to me will work.  Attempting to open either file results in an error message that there was an error restoring MC license - Failed extracting license from file.  Help please!

Hi Shelly,

I restored from your license and it worked fine (don't worry, I didn't use up one :) )

I'd suggest checking your system clock, then reinstalling MC with the latest
version...

Hi John,

System clock is accurate and 9.1.271 is installed.  What else can I try?

Shelly

edit:

I don't know if I accidently just used another restore or if you just emailed it to me again, but in any event, it still doesn't work :(

Hi Shelly,

No more ideas from me, this is more John T's side. I'll mention it to him.

Are you double clicking on the mjr file in Explorer?

Jim,

Yes, I was double clicking in Explorer.  The good news is that I just did another web based restore and it worked fine this time.  The bad news is that I used another restore :(.

Shelly,
You will never run out of restores.
