Direct control of smartlists
« on: October 02, 2003, 11:33:56 am »

Here is a tricky one: I want to be able to call up (smart) playlists with NetRemote/Media Center. How would I do that?

On my old pronto, I had many playlist m3u files which were called up through SuperNudelist and Numbuild of Girder. This worked great but I was using Winamp. However, every major addition required an new saving of every playlist. Since MediaCenter has Smartlists, I wonder how I could call up one directly in NR.

For example: I want to press one button to get a random selection of Beethoven without going through the tree.

Any ideas? :(

Just FYI - if you are doing this with NetRemote (and not another way of control), you can do this directly in NetRemote (avoiding command line). See this thread here.
