Hi everyone,
I am experiencing errors when playing mkv videos. I get an "error when connecting audio renderer with audio decoder". I am using different audio outputs for Music and Video and never had any issues. I'm feeding a DAC with the S/PDIF output of an ASUS Xonar Card for Audio and for the video I am feeding the S/PDIF output of the mainboard sound into my AV receiver. Currently using Red October Standard. In DSP settings I have set the audio renderer to my S/PDIF output of the second card. No changes in these settings for over a year from my side.
The error only occurs with mkv files. AVI and MP4 videos play nicely with sound. I am currently on build 74 and have tried to go back as far as to build 66 but still get the same error.
Audio playback for music also works fine.
Anybody experiencing similar problems?
