Sounds like a Windows issue, but this is the MC20 for Mac forum. Also, probably Windows or some firewall software is asking this, but not MC20 itself.

It may happen on Mac assuming you have the firewall enabled.

I am not having any problems with it but Mac 20.0.74 did appear on Sat 21st and was automatically updated from the Latest channel. It has not appeared on the interact board yet, as usually happens and indicated in the link above on updates.

I upgraded to 20.0.74 (for Mac) yesterday and I also have this problem. The software asks about accepting incoming connections every time I launch it. I didn't have this problem with the previous versions.

  • I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..

I've been running MC 20.0.74 on 2 Macs with no issue.

Yosemite 10.10.2 on both Macs.

The Firewall is turned on.

Yup, same here. Started with .74

It also says that the program is not signed by a trusted developer and forced me to right-click and press open for the first run, that might be the cause, as the previous versions included JRiver's signature and didn't had this "problem".

Build 74 on Mac had a certificate problem.  You could read here:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=95876.0

It will be fixed early next week.

The most stable build should always be on the Download Page.  This topic explains:
