Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo
« on: January 09, 2015, 07:07:09 am »

Hi all!

I have a question to: Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo
I want a new view, where I can browse all albums, but not sorted by title - but sorted by artist.

Is it possible? ... and how?

I have some custom views, but could not get this one working.

Have you tried to sort by the tag "AlbumArtist"? (Do not remember the exact spelling).

TRY THIS - (in Customize views for Gizmo & WebGizmo )

Under "AUDIO" Root Category -
Artist - Album Artist (Grouped), Album Artist (Grouped), Album Artist (Not Grouped), Album

This may depend on the depth of your data, and you may be able to remove one of the "Album Artist (Grouped)" levels.
(* Make sure the "Album Artist" fields are filled, often they must be copied from the "Artist" field first, or added by hand)

This works with my system, I hope it is of some help.  :)

Best Wishes,
Chris
