Identifying the software and version used to create your ripped files

In earlier versions of iTunes on the summary page for a file (song) it would provide information on the source of the rip (iTunes) I don't think it would provide the information on other tools used (JRIver, MAX, XLD, dbPoweramp etc) but I think it would be awesome to have this information.

Does JRiver provide the information relating to the software tool used to rip the files?  Is this information contained in ripped files and could it be retrieved?
