Hi, I'm really new to MC.  With help here, I have so far gotten MC to play a DSD album from Acoustic Sounds.
However when I downloaded a DSD file from 2L (norwegian site) and tried to play it, I get a file error message on my Mac Book Pro saying the file is not supported.  Here is what 2L replied when I asked about it:
"Is your JRiver set to play DFF files or only DSF?"

So this is pretty basic:  what path in MC leads me to a choice of dff file vs. dsf file?  I tried to find it from menus and by going to wiki.  Or if that is not really the solution, any advice is appreciated.

Hello John,

Have you bought a DSD256 album from 2L by any chance? Vega supports up to DSD128 format. You shouldn't have any trouble playing DSD128 or DXD file using your Vega though. JRiver MC supports both DFF and DSF, so I don't believe that's the issue.
