sorting files by Name
« on: March 19, 2015, 05:15:42 pm »

I am not sure what changed recently...

When viewing files by name the way it sorts seems to have changed.

I have files named like this  TV SHOW - SO1E01 - episode name

e.g, Mad Men - S02e01 - For those who think young

I believe that the files always displayed in order
Mad Men - s01e01...
Mad Men - s01e02...
Mad Men - s01e03...
and so one

Now it sorts

Mad Men - S01e01
Mad Men - S02e01
Mad Men - S03e01
Mad Men - S01e02
Mad Men - S02e02
Mad Men - S03e02
.
.
.

Has something changed in the most recent version?  This type of sort is extremely annoying for me.

Thanks

Dave

I just downgraded back to version 20.0.80 and can confirm that the sorting worked properly in the previous version.

It's possible the e is getting translated as part of the number and using it as an expression of the power.

I'll take a look tomorrow.

I just noticed this today too, and came here to ask what's going on!

Next build:
Fixed: An 'e' in a string would get interpreted as the power of the number so that sorting S01E03 type inputs would be wacky.
