I'm setting up jriver for a friend, and ran into a hiccup...clients can connect and view, play. however the videos will not allow me to ffwd? the progress bar jumps to where you click, but then no longer moves. (all you can see is a still image of the video clip/which changes as you click around) ive tried hitting pause/play and the video is just still (no audio either)
when i goto the server its connecting to /overview/the client the time is moving 3-4 seconds and just keeps starting over. when i goto media network and check the activity log it's looking as if its just downloading the file. but the client never resumes playback. on the client i have to goto playing now, and select the track/video and chose play again, and then the video will start playback from the beginning.
another oddity, when on his server, and clicking on overview (zone) and selecting client as current, if i click around on the server progress bar for client then the video skips as then plays as it should.
both are .84
both ports open on router with ports of 52199 and 98
