When will there be a real manual and a real support system?

Rather than keep developing the software, how about putting the efforts into the basics. Like a manual. Or something better than the lame wiki.

What is the problem you are experiencing?

Searching these forums is also a good source of information. There is a strong chance your issue has already been addressed before.

This has been discussed a little in the past.  Here are a few thoughts.

Search has replaced manuals for many things.  When was the last time you used a phone book, for example?

Things change so fast in this area that it's not possible to keep a manual current.

The scope of the program is broad enough that it would be impossible to provide details on every subject.  Installing a DAC, for instance.

User feedback on the forum is invaluable.  Can you imagine finding details on firmware problems in a manual?

The wiki can be changed on-the-fly when we find something missing or wrong.

And so on.  So please try to adapt to a different method of finding information.
