Broken shell extensions, no solution??
« on: October 03, 2003, 06:09:42 am »

For a long time now, the shell extension 'Play' within Windows explorer doesn't work. Play nowadays mean that MC ADDs the files TO PLAYING NOW (this already exist, why have to different options to do the same thing??) and (randomly?) select a whole different file to play. And that's only one behaviour, try playing files when MC's not running...

JRiver! Is this a confirmed bug? I've reported this error several times and other users as well.

As always, if it doesn't work, please do one of two things: Repair it or remove it.

Thanks.

Of course one can turn them off... but isn't it like saying to a car customer that complains about the doors won't lock: "Well, don't try and lock the doors then! The car works anyway..."?

Anyway, this behaviour has been around since 9.1.24x something. And yes I use a quite new version; 9.1.266...

Thanks!

JRiver? Can you or can you not confirm the bug/behaviour?
