How does one create a new playlist in remote?

in JRemote:
swipe a song to the left
tap ‘+playlist’
choose either an existing playlist or hit the ‘+’ in the upper right corner to create a new one

Tried that.  Songs do not swipe to left.  What view do I need to be in?
