PMW update unstable

Whenever the Pono Player is connected to my MacBook Pro (10.6.8 and proud of it), the Pono World software crashes. This did not used to be the case. I replaced the laptop itself and installed an SSD.

I deleted and reinstalled the software. I rebooted.  I tried it with no other applications running.

Neat little device. Mint condition, since I can't use it.

What, precisely, do I have to do to get this thing to work?

Your first line of support should be with Pono, not JRiver.

Please see if you can get a log.  Here's how:

Try it with no micro SD card inserted.

Empty the trash for the micro SD card.
