I had this problem starting in previous versions whereby I would play a video in Video Zone, and then when I pressed stop, the active zone would change to Stereo Zone. No one could reproduce it... because no one else is using "locked views". Today I figured out the connection...
If you use Split View, and then lock View #2 to a Playing Now, the "Active Zone" will always revert to the Zone of that locked view of Playing Now.
If you split to three views, and then lock View #2 and #3, #2 to Playing Now of "Headphones Zone" and #3 to Playing Now of "Stereo Zone" and then play a Video in Video Zone, then when you press stop, the Active Zone is not "Video Zone", but rather "Headphones Zone" (despite nothing having been played in Headphones Zone for weeks).
I don't think the Views should affect the Active Zone.

Here is an example of why you might want a Locked View, and why it should not affect Active Zone:
Suppose you want to have a "Kid's Bedroom Zone" and then in Display View, you wanted to lock one of the two split views to the Playing Now of "Kid's Bedroom Zone", so that you always knew what was playing there (and if nothing was playing there).
When you stopped playing something in other Zones, you would not want a) the Player on the top of Display View, and b) the Remote Control, to automatically be assigned to "Kid's Bedroom Zone". This might mean that if you pressed play at 11:00pm, it would start music in "Kid's Bedroom Zone" where they were sleeping.
So, upon pressing Stop, the Active Zone should not revert to the locked View of Playing Now.
