Denon 3312 DLNA problem after firmware upgrade
« on: March 15, 2015, 09:31:02 am »

I'm having a similar problem that I find in the forum that happen before but with the MC17 version. The problem occurs playing to my denon receiver 3312 with the MC20 . I click on denon on the playing now, then MC starts becoming laggy. I then try to play a song then it will freeze for a moment then have a message pop up saying "there was a problem controlling the selected DLNA device. Double-check your device, server and network settings.

Sometimes it works for a while, if first I was listening to internet radio.
Sometimes it also power on the denon but always have problem to control the device and can not play a song, it try to play 3 song and after that a message that can not play appears. "Something went wrong with playback"

I read in the forum that at that time the problem will be result with the 17.0.178 release of the MC17 but now I have the MC20.

I'll be very grateful if someone can help me figure out how to hear music again in the living room with my PC

Shouldn't you be asking this on a Denon forum?

As I can read in the forum the same situation occurs in june 2012 and the solution was a new release of the MC17 software, of course this may be different, but this has already happened.
I bought the Denon in early 2012 and never updated the firmware  until a few days ago.
All seems to work wright, I can connect the denon by IP adress on windows 7 and several android app on smart phone and tablets.
Also I can play music selecting the library from the denon IP page by media server and I supposed that this is by the MC20 because I can select the (Audiophile 24-bit DAC) to playback

I have similar issue with MC20 after Mar 2015 software upgrade I can't stream DSD/AIFF files anymore. All other formats stream ok. I can still stream DSD/AIFF from a Minim Server I.e. Problem points towards MC.
