Did you ever figure out this problem because I'm having exactly the same one. It worked at first on JRiver. But now I can see the IPod in ITunes and in explorer but even when I can see it in explorer I can't even browse to it inside JRiver to try to manually recognize it. I must have this feature for me to rid myself of ITunes. If not, I'm going to rid myself of JRIver instead. Just when I thought it was going to work for me. Really aggravated at this point. Someone please tell me I'm doing something really stupid and there isn't a flaw in the program.
