I am posting this message again as a new topic, so that it will get noticed so that it can be fixed for the next beta release.

When I navigate through the media library, I don't see a horizontal scroll bar appearing when the tree expands.  I do see a vertical scroll bar appearing though.  The only way I can see the entire tree is to resize the whole window.  

Further when I am looking at a few tracks, there is a column width limitation for the file name field which makes it practically impossible to see the file names.  I would appreciate it if you guys could fix this issue too.

The is no longer a scrollbar for the tree, but you can make the whole view wider using the gripper.

I'd recommend getting used to the panes instead of the tree.  They do everything the tree does and more, and you won't need lots of scrolling.
