Looking to purchase JRiver..
« on: June 09, 2015, 03:38:36 pm »

I am looking to purchase a replacement for Windows Media Centre when it is removed on the Windows 10 upgrade.

Does JRiver?
1. Support multiple Hauppauge tuner cards in one PC
2. Support the IR Blaster working off the Hauppauge card
3. Support remote controllers through the Microsoft "Remote Control Receiver"
4. Support the various Rogers (Canada) TV schedules  (They have a Digital Adapter, and SD Box and HD Box schedules).  I think
Someone mentioned ZAP2IT as the lookup  (I think WMC uses that)...

Hope someone can help me

Thanks

Andy

1. Yes, we support multiple cards.
2. We are working on supporting Hauppauge's built-in IR blasters.  It will be supported soon.
3. We support MCE remotes.
4. Not sure.  We get programming guide info for various TV providers.  ZAP2IT is a possible alternative way to our default method.

You can install our program and try it.  It has a 30-day full featured free trial.

We definitely have users from Canada.  I hope some of them will chime in.
