Can't play DSD 2.8MHz file
« on: February 11, 2016, 06:38:56 pm »

I am using JRiver MC 20 with Windows 8.
I am using a Benchmark DAC2.  Both the 4x and 2x lights should turn blue when DSD file is played.
I have no problem playing with 96/24 or 192/24
Downloaded an HD Tracks album which was supposed to play in DSD 2.8MHz.
JRiver Message: "...wants to play 352,000KHz but can only play 176,000, do this or cancel" I clicked 176,000KHz.
Result: Download only plays 96/24. Benchmark has no provision for 176,000KHz.
Tools Setup:  Set for DSD (DoP), Sampling: Output None,  Input "None", or anywhere from 44,100KHz  >384,000KHz.
How do I adjust JRiver MC20 in Tools to play DSD?

The DSD settings are not in the DSP Studio, which is what I think you are trying to describe.  To set up DSD for bitstreaming:

Tools > Options > Audio > Settings > Bitstreaming > DSD

That should do it.
