I'm new to JRiver.
I have built up a massive video and audio collection over the years which resides on an external hard drive.
I wish to view my media on my television in the most efficient way possible, and was impressed by the JRiver interface, so hope to use this as the front end of my entertainment centre.
I've searched for tips regarding the use of an Apple TV 3 to display films and music from JRiver on my MacBook Pro, but there appears to be conflicting info as to what one can and can't do. I have tried displaying Netflix from my laptop through Apple TV using Airplay, but picture resolution is less than perfect, and often there's a sync problem between video and audio.
If I have to abort using the Apple TV in favour of other hardware, then so be it.
Any help appreciated.......
