I'm getting a bug in this build with volume "Toasts" on track change stealing focus.  I'm seeing this on two different machines (both the 32-bit build and the 64-bit build) in Gnome on Arch.

To repro:
1) Start a playlist
2) Minimize MC
3) Begin typing in another window
4) About six or seven seconds before the track change a floating "toast" showing the current volume percentage appears (not connected to any MC window).
5) When the toast appears Media Center takes focus from the other window, which results in all keypresses going to MC instead of the window you're typing in.  It took me a couple track changes to figure out why my keypresses were periodically controlling mediacenter  (pressing space would pause the music instead of adding a space to my document, etc.). 

I'll just switch prog rock for the time being (18-minute-long songs mean fewer typing interruptions  )

I find that you don't have to wait for the track to end on it's own, the toast appears if you advance the track manually.  I thought this might have something to do with crossfade, but gapless playback does the same thing.

My MC was set to use 'internal volume' and i found that the same toast appeared when I manually changed the volume there.  By change the volume to 'system volume' the toast no longer appears.

Stars are appearing in Noire again! I did however do some testing on the other skins, and "Purity" seems to be the only one in the standard pack that comes with MC that *does not* show stars now.
