EPG Set Up
« on: August 02, 2015, 03:54:14 pm »

i am evaluating JRiver MC20 after having been a longtime user of Windows Media Center.  I am really disappointed with the way EPG is selected.  I feel that if I am to pay for the software (which I am willing to do) I shouldn't have to do anything other than select the source to pull the EPG from.  Grabber routines etc are beyond my knowledge and seems they should be integrated into the software.  If I want to choose Titan TV for my EPG it should just be a drop down menu after choosing source (cable, satellite or terrestrial).

It used to be that way until a week ago when Microsoft changed the schedule source that they provide.

JRiver is making a change, and we may be back soon to doing it the easy way.

I hope so.  I am not tech savvy enough for the other ways.   :-\

I'm locking this thread and the other EPG threads.  If you find a problem with MC21's EPG, please report it in a new thread.

mc2xml should be fully functional in MC21.

You can download MC21 for Windows from the MC21 Board.
