Help on Upgrading

I am trying to upgrade to JRiver Media Center 21 from 20 using the pre-order e-mail. I requested my registration code from JRiver, copied it from the e-mail and pasted it in order form, but received the message that there is no upgrade available for the code I entered. I bought this copy approximately six months ago. What do I do?
