Feature Request: Same Device for Input AND Output - Single Instance

Would be ideal for a lot of us using pro audio interfaces to allow the device for both input AND output.  By way of example, I use my Steinberg UR824 as my primary output device.  It'll play anything up to 24/192.  It's A->D converters also allow for taking an analog source and converting to digital at 24/192.

As I understand it, if I select the device as an ASIO input source, two instances of JRiver are opened.  BUT i'm limited to a 96khz sampling rate.  There are many programs that operate on a single instance basis for a given device (REW, Audiolense, and Pure Music / Vinyl are three).  Why can't JRiver allow for this?  AND allow the input to be at the highest input the device is capable of (24/192 in my Steinberg example).

Real-time vinyl digitization is one example where this would be very useful.
