MC21: Very High CPU usage

After the start of MC21 the processor utilization is constant over 10%. (idle).
I only opened the window - MC does not play.
I've been watching this now for 30 minutes. What does MC do ?

 I don't know if this helps, but here's a picture of ksysguard

It's probably building thumbnails in the background.

Over 1 hour at 10 -15 %, and now MC runs since 30 minutes with constant 5% CPU usage.
nothing is played - only the window
Takes MC21 not thumbnails of MC 20?

Ok - after about 2.5 hours MC is "quiet".
When a song is played 1% CPU load - with Spectrum Analyzer CPU load is 5%. I think that's ok.

That's what I'm seeing and what I expect the spectrum analyzer to use.
