Feature request: Handheld sync applies .m3u playlist changes back to MC

It would be fantastic if, when syncing a handheld (mass storage, regular directory) with playlists, it would copy the changes from the remote playlist back to MC.  For example, if I add 3 songs to an .m3u, then it would be reflected back in MC.  This is similar to how iTunes/iPod work and I loved that feature.

To get this working with transcoded, files, too, the extension could be ignored when comparing changed files in the playlists.



Ratings would be another nice thing.

I don't have MC right now and I'm on the fence, but seeing this implemented in 21 would make me buy a super license for practically any price.
