Don't see that option...aside from killing the media server. Even then, on reconnect wouldn't the changes just sync right back up?

I'd say this behavior seems like a known bug - can't possibly be intentional?

Ah, ty. - so known issue/bug that has been a problem for years apparently.

I pretty much always have someone connected to my MC (kids/wife, handful of select friends)...I noticed this issue before but never payed much attention to it as no one was really using playlists until recently.
